§ 02 Our approach

How we handle diesel engine repair

A diesel rarely fails all at once. It gives warning signs — a little less pull on a grade, a new haze at idle, a few more quarts between changes. We start with what you have been noticing, pull the fault history, and run the tests that separate a fuel problem from an air, compression or electronic one. You get a plain-language explanation of what we found before any wrench turns.

Repairs range from injector and fuel system work, turbocharger and charge-air repairs, and EGR-side problems to head gaskets, valve adjustments, oil cooler and front-cover leaks, and full overhaul planning. When a job needs more than a roadside fix, we tell you that up front and lay out the options so you can plan downtime around your loads.

§ 03 How the job runs

Four steps, start to finish

  1. Listen & log

We record your symptoms, mileage and recent work, then read active and inactive fault codes.

  2. Test, not guess

Fuel pressure, boost, blow-by, cylinder contribution and leak-down tests point to the real failure.

  3. Quote & approve

You get a written estimate with parts, labor and downtime before work begins.

  4. Repair & verify

We repair to spec, clear codes and road-test or load-test to confirm the fix.

§ 05 FAQ

Diesel Engine Repair questions

Do you repair engines on-site?

Many engine repairs — injectors, sensors, turbos, leaks, adjustments — can be done at your yard or location. Larger jobs such as major overhauls are planned with you in advance, including where the work will be done and how long the truck will be down.

Which engines do you work on?

We work on the heavy-duty diesels used in Class 7 and Class 8 trucks, including the common inline-six platforms found in highway tractors and vocational trucks. Call with your engine model and we will confirm before dispatch.

How do you price engine diagnostics?

Diagnostics are quoted before we start. Once the cause is confirmed, you receive a written repair estimate; nothing beyond the approved amount is done without your OK.

Truck down?
We’re on it.

Tell us where the truck is and what it’s doing. We’ll give you a straight answer, an honest arrival time and a written estimate before any work starts.
