Service 08 · DPF, DEF & EGR
Aftertreatment repair that ends the derate cycle
A clogged filter or a failing sensor can slow a truck to a crawl. We diagnose the whole emissions system so the regen problem doesn’t return next week.

Call us if you’re seeing this
- 01Frequent regenerations or regens that never finish
- 02Engine derate with aftertreatment lamp
- 03DEF quality, dosing or heater faults
- 04NOx sensor or temperature sensor codes
- 05Soot at the tailpipe or high back pressure

§ 02 Our approach
How we handle dpf, def & egr
A DPF that plugs up is usually a symptom. Excess soot comes from somewhere — a leaking injector, an EGR problem, a boost leak, a failing sensor or a duty cycle with too much idling. We check those sources before we clean or replace a filter, so you are not paying for the same filter twice.
Our aftertreatment work includes forced and parked regenerations, DPF and DOC removal for cleaning or replacement, DEF doser, pump and heater diagnosis, NOx and temperature sensor replacement, and EGR valve and cooler repairs. Everything is done to keep your truck legal and emissions-compliant.
§ 03 How the job runs
Four steps, start to finish
Read the system
Soot load, differential pressure, sensor data and regen history.
Find the source
Fuel, air and EGR checks to explain the soot.
Service
Regen, cleaning, sensor or component replacement as needed.
Confirm
Completed regen and live readings back in range.
§ 04 Scope
What’s included
Every job is quoted in writing first. Here’s what this service typically covers.
- Forced and parked regenerations
- DPF and DOC removal and reinstallation
- Filter cleaning coordination or replacement
- DEF pump, doser and heater diagnosis
- NOx and exhaust temperature sensors
- EGR valve and cooler repair
- Compliant repairs — no deletes
§ 05 FAQ
DPF, DEF & EGR questions
Can you clean my DPF?
Yes. We remove the filter and coordinate a thermal cleaning, or replace it if it is cracked or past cleaning. We also check what caused it to load up.
Do you do emissions deletes?
No. We only perform repairs that keep the truck emissions-compliant and legal to operate.
Why does my truck regen so often?
Common causes include excessive idling, injector or EGR problems, faulty pressure sensors and boost leaks. A diagnostic will show which one applies to your truck.
